The only pre-requisites for this course are the Android for Beginners course and the Android Basics: Multiscreen Apps course. Once you've completed both, you'll be ready to continue your education and learn to build networked apps with this course!
As with those classes, however, you do need a computer that can run Android Studio (see Android Studio's System Requirements for details).
